Tonsillitis causes sore throat, difficulty in swallowing, fever, chills, and pain with hoarseness in the voice. It is diagnosed by a strep test or throat culture done by swabbing the tonsils. Tonsillitis can be controlled with warm drinks, gargling with warm salt water, maintaining good personal hygiene like washing hands frequently, resting and with medications. If you are having a fever above 103° F with soreness of the throat and weakness, don't ignore it. Visit I and My Doctors Clinic for tonsillitis treatment. Symptoms Signs and symptoms caused by cancer will vary depending on what part of the body is affected. Some general signs and symptoms associated with, but not specific to, cancer, include: Fatigue Lump or area of thickening that...

Cholesterol is also found in foods from animal sources, such as egg yolks, meat, and cheese. Cholesterol is both good and bad. At normal levels, it is an essential substance for the body. However, if concentrations in the blood get too high, it becomes a silent danger that puts people at risk of heart attack. What is the difference between “good” cholesterol and “bad” cholesterol? Low-density lipoprotein (LDL) is often called “bad” cholesterol. It delivers cholesterol to the body. High-density lipoprotein (HDL) is often called “good” cholesterol. It removes cholesterol from the bloodstream. This explains why too much LDL cholesterol is bad for the body, and why a high level of HDL cholesterol is good. For ex...
