UTI

Symptoms of UTI are frequent urination, burning sensation while urinating and urgency to urinate. Kidney infections can cause pain in flank or back, nausea/vomiting, fever/chills along with above mentioned symptoms.
UTI can be diagnosed by urine dip stick test at I and My Doctors Clinic. Our doctor may send urine for culture tests to know exactly what issue is causing the infection and its sensitivity to antibiotics. Most UTI are treated with oral antibiotics as an outpatient. UTI in man, young kids and immunocompromised individuals could be more complicated. Kidney infections can make you very sick and some people end up needing to be hospitalized for IV (Intravenous) antibiotics.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) conclude that e-cigarettes can benefit adult smokers who are not  pregnant , as long as t...

Cholesterol is also found in foods from animal sources, such as egg yolks, meat, and cheese. Cholesterol is both good and bad. At normal levels, it is an essential substance for the body. However, if concentrations in the blood get too high, it becomes a silent danger that puts people at risk of heart attack. What is the difference between “good” cholesterol and “bad” cholesterol? Low-density lipoprotein (LDL) is often called “bad” cholesterol. It delivers cholesterol to the body. High-density lipoprotein (HDL) is often called “good” cholesterol. It removes cholesterol from the bloodstream. This explains why too much LDL cholesterol is bad for the body, and why a high level of HDL cholesterol is good. For ex...
